A beautiful Victorian structure with all the old world charm you could want, yet with all the modern conveniences and luxuries that will make your stay memorable. With more than 4,500 square feet of living area in the main house, you are sure to find just the right spot to curl up and read a good book. European and Asian antiques are scattered throughout the home. We are sure you will find the interior of the home to be like no other you have ever seen. The views of the bay from the back of the home will literally take your breath away. Whales and dolphins frequently frolic in the bay and the sunrises are spectacular.
 

The Hilo Cliff House offers eight large luxury suites: one with a queen and twin bed, and seven with king beds. Four suites also have fireplaces and in room oversized two person Jacuzzi tubs romantically located in a round alcove overlooking the ocean.

All suites overlook the ocean and Pohakumanu Bay, and have a TV as well as a DVD player, ceiling fans, and bathrooms with Italian marble. All suites have more than 500 square feet of living area.
 

The Family room is well stocked with board games, cards, music and movies. There is a television here for group viewing, as well as a computer for those who need their internet, or just need to send off a quick e-mail. Some of our crafting classes gather here as well.

The kitchen is where the activity is. The center of most homes, ours is no exception. A buzz with activity in the mornings before breakfast, it is also the place where guests gather who want to learn something new during one of the many cooking classes that are offered. Please inquire if you would be interested in joining one.

The Formal living room offers a quiet refuge complete with a fireplace filled with candles that set the mood for gathering to enjoy an evening glass of wine before settling in for the evening. The stairs lead the way to the Grande Suite and to the private areas of the home.
 
 

The extensive lanais offer breathtaking views with plenty of seating, should you wish to just sit and enjoy the sounds of the surf and the songs of the tropical birds. Breakfast is served daily on the main lanai. We also occasionally have special programs for our guests here.

Situated on 3.4 acres, the estate provides a real sense of privacy and seclusion. The drive lined with majestic Caribbean palms is your first indication that you have arrived someplace truly special.The views along the driveway are only a hint of those to come. You will wind past the macadamia nut orchard, and if you notice the trees are in bloom, be sure to slow down and enjoy their fragrance. There is nothing else like it. The home remains hidden within the gardens until you are almost in front of it.
